Research interest:
Preparation of nanomaterials based on iron oxides (maghemite, magnetite and others), graphene and graphene oxides, nanodiamonds and carbon nitride.
Modification of nanomaterials substrates with metal nanoparticles (silver, gold, copper and palladium NPs) and other functional compounds (non-metal doping).
Application and study of nanocomposites in catalytic processes (“nanocatalysis”), mainly in possible “green catalytic reactions”, analyses by gass chromatography.
Study of photocatalytic organic processes and reaction, H2 production, water remediation.
Study (determination and derivatization) of environmental pollution and organic products by using HPLC/UV, MS, NMR.
